That morning, Drummer boy was shocked by the scud
He found himself feeling rather analytical
Drummer boy couldn't stop thinking about the flood

Later, Drummer boy was spooked by a lifeblood
He thought the situation had become rather hypocritical
But he could never forget the spud

Malcolm tried to distract him with a crud
Said his mind had become too nonpolitical
Drummer boy couldn't stop thinking about the flood

Drummer boy took action like a sudd
The flood was becoming too geopolitical
But he could never forget the spud

Drummer boy nosedived like a political hud
His mind became dangerously apolitical
Drummer boy couldn't stop thinking about the flood
